Background

Rack Addik is a newly launched clothing line focusing on fashion forward streetwear.  The line is the create of Kelly Dempsey, a self-taught fashion designer and former Season 14 "Project Runway" runner-up.

Constraints

Being a freshly launched business, Rack Addik's biggest constraint was a small client list and a limited social media following.  Limited email marketing and social media lists equate to lower sales which stopped the brand from growing.

Solution

After hearing from other designers about AMCONYC'S track record of success, Kelly approached AMCONYC to produce her brand's fashion week debut in 2016 after her appearance on Project Runway.

AMCONYC cast models, created and executed makeup looks and styled the show.  In addition, AMCONYC handled all the guest lists, VIP and public relations before, during and after the show.

Results

AMCONYC was able to execute a successful fashion show for Rack Addik with over 400 bloggers, influencers, editors, buyers and consumers in attendance.  The show's success resulted in a 10% increase in social media followers and email marketing list growth which reflected in the brand's collection being sold out within 5 weeks.
