DESIGNER APPLICATIONS

AMCONYC Fashion Week showcases collections from young and emerging brands across the couture, lingerie, swimwear, ready-to-wear, accessories, and footwear categories, attracting an audience of international and local press and buyers throughout the shows.  From intimate presentations to traditional runway shows, the official catwalk, presentation, and digital schedules provide designers with a team they can count on.  We hope to welcome you to the AMCONYC Family.  See below for more important information.

 

EMERGING DESIGNER REQUIREMENTS  

Applying designer must meet the following requirements for fashion week consideration:

 

• Must present a collection for review

• Full collection with 10+ looks

• Presentable website

• Executed lookbook from a previous collection

• Mood board for the new collection

• Must show a sample of garments

• Fully executed company bio

• Must be in NY for fittings

 

 

EVENT FORMAT

• AMCONYC Shows present collections from fashion brands on the runway. Other types of formats are available such as presentation, shop the runway, on-site pop-up shop etc).

• Third-party and individual sponsors must be approved by event producer prior to confirmation.

• Runway shows are organized into individual shows for each designer.  Your audience is targeted to your demographic for maximum results.

• AMCONYC will coordinate and host all model castings for each designer. We will cast based on your needs.

• AMCONYC will provide a runway choreographer and coach for each designer.

• AMCONYC produces 4 shows each day during New York Fashion Week.

• Each designer will be given a dedicated hair and makeup staff that is well versed in that particular look to execute all hair and makeup styles in accordance with the look of the designer's collection.   We do not use the same look for other designers.

• Each show does not have the same attendees. AMCONYC clears the room after each show and resets for the next show.

• Each show is approximately one (1) hour and fifteen (15) minutes from start to finish.

• AMCONYC does mix Men’s and Women’s Collections together each season.  We do not hold a separate men's show.

• AMCONYC allows the designer to present the season they wish to show.  We do not make the designer show in
  season.

• AMCONYC will produce a timeline for the run-of-show to each designer prior to show date.  Designer and team may not be on site prior to their call time out of respect for the other designer and their show, attendees, staff etc.

• Deposit due upon signing of the agreement. Show date and time will be confirmed at this time.

• Show dates and times are first come first serve.

• Final Payment Deadline: One month prior to your show date
