The creator of Bradelis New York, Akiyo Hirakubo has always been fascinated with lingerie and the happiness it brings to women. While studying in the U.S., Akiyo was stunned when she noticed that her college roommate wore both sexy lingerie as well as foundation garments. Inspired by this, Akiyo set out to create lingerie that not only looked beautiful but also functionality and support to help all women reshape their silhouette. Over the past 25 years, Bradelis has helped many women around the world feel beautiful by using Japanese designs and sewing techniques, expert fitting methods, and feedback from their customers to create this lingerie. Today, Bradelis New York has grown into an Internationally known and sought after brand with boutiques in New York and throughout Asia. It has 16 stores in Japan, 3 in NYC, and 1 in Taiwan.  Products are also sold through its online store and TV shopping (QVC).
